I signed up for a swap over at the cricut MB. It's been such a long time since I've done a swap. An ATC is an "Artist Trading Card" and the base needs to be 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".
I used an Inkadinkadoo stamp set for the birds and birdhouse. I stamped the birdhouse twice. Once on blue paper and once on brown textured paper then cut them out and added the brown trim and hole. The birds were stamped on brown paper with buttercream stazon and then I used an I-rock gem used on the eyes. The branch is from the Create A Critter cartridge. The "Home Tweet Home" is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set. I used the D'vine Swirls cuttlebug folder for the background. Cardstock is from Stampin' Up!; Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, So Saffron and Brocade Blue.
Here is the back of the ATC with all my info. I used the same stamp set to stamp the theme on it, but had to change the Tweet to Sweet by handwriting an "S". I hope they like them. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

Old Fashioned Festival Layout
Every year at the end of July, our town holds an "Old Fashioned Festival" that runs Thursday through Sunday. On Saturday night, they put on a spectacular firework show. Here is a layout featuring this years display.
I used the Summer Vacation cricut cartridge for the ferris wheel and the kiddie ride. I punched out stars from various punch manufacturers and I made the background paper with stamps. The words for the title were written on a ticket punch from EK Success
I made these tickets, so if you look close they all have the same number because it was a stamp. Lol. I then took a small punch and clipped out little half circles and made dots for the perforations.
I punched out stars and then glued a shiny background to the back of the paper and then glued a smaller star in the middle to make my borders.

2 New cards
I used the "B is for Boys" cricut cartridge, Happy Birthday cuttlebug folder, and I cut paper into rectangles for the blocks before I embossed the paper. I then lightly sanded it, to bring out the design.
This next card, I used some dollar stamps and the background paper is from Cosmo Cickets "Get Happy". The solid cardstock, ribbon, and scallop punch are from Stampin' Up!
